Meet Our Team

Asaf Shaltiel

CEO & Founder

Asaf Shaltiel is the CEO and founder of SmarTap. has 13 years of experience in the high tech sector. He previously served as power product leader at Intel Haifa research center , leading a team of electrical engineers in building the power management module for the quad core mobile processors. Prior to that he worked as physical design engineer at Marvell semiconductors, developing cutting edge network processors for Cisco entprise communication modules.
Asaf holds a B.Sc degree in electrical engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology

Ran Zarivatch

VP B.Development

Ran Zarivatch is the VP B.development at SmarTap. He provides direction and planning, implements new ideas and tools for the company, and leads the effort and strategy of our rapidly growing market.

Prior to joining SmarTap Ran helped grow several businesses in the technology and retail business. He holds a B.A in international relations, and M.B.A in business management

Yuval Klein

VP Engineering

Yuval Klein is VP of Engineering at SmarTap. He previously served as R&D manager at Fourtec, leading a team of software and electrical engineers in building complex data loggers for the pharmaceutical and food industry. Prior to that he worked as leading electrical engineer at The Pilot Group, responsible for developing innovative prototypes for varies industries and research groups. Yuval has significant experience developing mix signal electronics from concept to production and in a multi-disciplinary projects including software, mechanics, optics etc.

He holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Northridge.
